Project Management Methodology FAQ
Project Scope Management
Track, investigate, communicate, and resolve requests for project changes with our scope management process. Prosum provides defined roles, responsibilities, and procedures to support identifying, tracking, communicating, and disposing of change requests that arise during your project that affect project boundaries, deliverables, budget or schedule. Scope management provides a formal evaluation and approval process for those change requests. Without proper scope management processes, it is difficult to maintain project boundaries and meet defined objectives.
Identify and manage issues critical to the success of your project. Prosum’s approach to issue management relies on a partnership between individual team members, team leads, project managers, project directors, and project sponsors.
Issues Management
Prosum provides effective issue management and allows for:
- Visible decision-making processes
- A means for reaching consensus on questions concerning the project
- Project audit trails
Risk Management
Ensure that all risks, both technical and business related, are identified and managed through realistic and effective strategies throughout your full project life cycle. Prosum’s Risk Management Plan is prepared during the planning phase of every project and incorporates risk management strategies in your project schedule and budget. The Risk Management Plan identifies potential risks, their classifications, management strategies and contingent actions. Risks are classified according to their severity and the probability of occurrence.
Referencing a cross-section of personnel, Prosum’s approach ensures that risks are identified from a wide variety of perspectives in order to react quickly and decisively to any problems that may arise.
